A to Z Guide to Afghanistan Assistance 2012 - Tenth Edition

"The tenth edition of AREU’s flagship publication is a guide to the terms, structures, mechanisms, and coordinating bodies critical to the Afghanistan relief effort. It aims to ensure a shared vocabulary and common understanding of the forces at play in the country. In addition to a glossary of terms and organograms of key assistance structures, the guide includes maps and a contacts directory to make it easier to communicate with assistance actors working on the ground. A “live document,” the guide is updated and published annually. New additions this year include:

• In collaboration with the World Bank, a new section of 34 provincial profiles presenting key development indicators against national benchmarks, all drawn from NRVA data.

• A province-by-province guide to radio, TV and print media currently active in Afghanistan courtesy of Nai Media."
