New Open Access Journal: Tassmeem

Aims & Scope:
Tassmeem is a refereed, open access, international design journal that provides a multi-modal forum for the exchange of ideas and findings on all aspects of creative research. The aim of Tassmeem is to publish high quality, thought-provoking, original research that engages in the evolving scholarship of design. The journal has a special interest in research related to, or about, the Middle East, and in particular, to design research that addresses modernization and the preservation of traditions, economic growth, social development and environmental stewardship.

We accept research submissions in all media formats including text, image, audio and video.

Tassmeem encompasses, but is not limited to, the following areas:

- Creativity and innovation
- Design education and pedagogy
- Design theory, criticism and history
- Sustainability
- Applied design
- Design methodology
- Interdisciplinary design
- Experimental design
- The practice of design
- Global/Local design

Tassmeem is published with QScience.com under an open access model, assigning Creative Commons licenses to all works, meaning the author retains copyright on their work.
