Irancarto publie des cartes d’archive, des atlas et de nouveaux travaux géographiques.
L’actualité sur les ressources et les recherches cartographiques en cours sur le monde iranien est consultable dans le volume Bazarcarto. 


Irancarto est publié à Paris par l’Unité mixte de recherche 7528 Mondes Iranien et Indien (CNRS, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, INALCO, EPHE).


Irancarto is a scientific research website devoted to cartographic studies on Iran and the Iranian world current or past: society, demography, economics, politics, culture, history, language, arts, cities, countryside...


Irancarto publishes new cartographic studies and digital editions of previously printed atlases.
Bazarcarto is a hub of information and exchange for Iranian cartography.

AJESI (Anadolu Journal of Educational Sciences International) is an online, international, biannual (January–July), and peer reviewed journal. AJESI aims to serve as an international platform to integrate the contributions of educational scholarship, and publishes original work pertaining to educational theory, practice and research.

Manuscripts can be written both in Turkish and English. The editors welcome original studies contributing to the improvement of instructional processes and products. Instructional perspectives and cases in different disciplines; curricula considerations; social and institutional issues in education; perspectives on educational leadership; and other instructional processes in both formal and informal settings are within the scope of the journal.

Submission of a study means that the manuscript has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication in other journals, and that its submission is approved by all contributing authors.


AJESI implements a double-blind peer review process. The initial evaluation of the handling editors aims to eliminate the manuscripts that are not original, have serious problems, or are beyond the scope of the journal. Those which pass the initial evaluation are sent to at least two experts in the field. A third reviewer is resorted to when the first two are in conflict.

Hima Mesopotamia is an international NGO dedicated to the health of the people and ecosystems of the Mesopotamian Marshes through the promotion of responsible stewardship of the Tigris–Euphrates watershed.


By creating a network of individuals & organizations that are involved in water, health, ecological, economic, and human rights issues in the Middle East, Hima Mesopotamia aims to provide a forum for cultural and environmental information exchange to support ecological and cultural health.
Our Vision: the restoration and maintenance of the ecological and cultural heritage of the Tigris Euphrates watershed.


Our Mission: To nurture the eco-cultural heritage of the Tigris-Euphrates watershed through

1. Outreach, coordination and capacity building among grassroots organizations working throughout the watershed, policy makers, and the international community.
2. Synthesis of scientific information, traditional and local knowledge.
3. Provide a forum for cultural and environmental information exchange between individuals, local, national, and international groups via art, media, public speaking and scientific conferences.

Speak Memory: Archive Map

Born out of the Speak Memory symposium, the “Archive Map” research project seeks to create a growing database of archival collections and other resources that contain material relevant to the Middle East’s modern and contemporary art history. The “Archive Map” is currently limited to four countries: Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. These countries have been selected because of their rich modern and contemporary art history and also because of our working relationship with several researchers that have been exploring archival collections in these countries. Lead researchers include Clare Davies for Egypt, Anneka Lenssen for Syria, Sarah Rogers for Lebanon and Saleem Al-Bahloly for Iraq.

Speak Memory offers archival information on maps in the Middle East, namely on Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and Iraq.

Thirty years of conflict : drivers of anti-government mobilisation in Afghanistan, 1978-2011 by Antonio Giustozzi with Niamatullah Ibrahimi, (2012)

"A new paper by Dr Antonio Giustozzi traces structural factors driving anti-government mobilisation in Afghanistan in each successive phase of the country’s thirty years of conflicts. Drawing on extensive literature from both international and Afghan sources, it analyses the social and political forces behind the ideological war of the 1980s, the factional conflict of the 1990s, and the current insurgency. In doing so, it explores how such an extended period of warfare has fundamentally reshaped Afghan society, spurring changes which have in their turn altered why the conflict is fought. The study also devotes specific focus to examining the Taliban as an example of a political organisation enabling and driving conflict. Starting with the origins of the Taliban insurgency, it goes on to explore what is known about its ability to mobilise communities and the kind of non-military, tacit support it receives from them. It also looks at the role played by different groups of individuals such as mullahs, madrassa students and young people, and the economic and funding dimensions of the movement.
