Synergies Turquie est une revue francophone internationale de recherche en sciences humaines particulièrement ouverte aux travaux de langue, de littérature, de culture, de traduction et de didactique qui réunit les chercheurs universitaires de la Turquie publiant essentiellement leurs recherches en français. La revue accorde une place limitée aux études originales en anglais afin de donner une idée de l’étendue des recherches en sciences humaines de la Turquie.
La vocation de la revue Synergies Turquie est de mettre en œuvre, en Turquie, le Programme Mondial de Diffusion Scientifique Francophone en Réseau du GERFLINT, Groupe d'Etudes et de Recherches pour le Français Langue Internationale. Comme toutes les revues qui ont obtenu la Qualité de Membre du GERFLINT, elle poursuit les objectifs suivants: défense de la recherche scientifique francophone dans l'ensemble des sciences humaines, promotion du dialogue entre les disciplines, les langues et les cultures, ouverture sur l'ensemble de la communauté scientifique, aide aux jeunes chercheurs, adoption d'une large couverture disciplinaire, veille sur la qualité scientifique des travaux.

Introduction
British Muslim Monthly Survey (BMMS) started in 1993 and has since then presented a monthly abstract of press reporting on Islam in Britain. (For more information concerning BMMS see All about BMMS. The web version follows the printed version. For reasons of convenience the content list is placed at the beginning of each issue.
Development of the BMMS structure
From 1993 till 1996 BMMS consists of Features, Short Reports and Updates. From the beginning the Updates were subdivided into the sections Education and Mosques. In February 1996 a third section Burials was added. In 1997 BMMS changed its layout. The changes are visible: BMMS has now three instead of two columns and the list of contents are placed at the end. Also the structure has been simplified into Features and Reports. In the web version you can find after every Feature article the link “back to contents”. The section Report is usually subdivided into the following sections: “Community”, “Education”, “Politics”, “Racism”, “Women”, “Youth”, “Interfaith”, “Halal”, “Health”, “Employment” and “Mosques and Burials”. These sections are not linked with the content list, to go there you have press the “back” button on your tool bar on the top. In the year 2000 we decided to produce a web version of BMMS. The huge advantage of the web version - besides its convenience - are the three search functions.

Each volume takes a particular section of the topic, the four volumes being entitled: Early Islamic Art, 650-1100; Islamic Visual Culture, 1100-1800; Islamic Art and Beyond; and Jerusalem. Reflecting the many incidents of a long academic life, they illustrate one scholar's attempt at making order and sense of 1400 years of artistic growth. "The Yale-SOAS Islamic Manuscript Gallery was created as a transatlantic cooperative programme with Yale University Library to create in one place all that is needed to catalogue Islamic manuscripts.
Specially selected manuscripts, ten in Arabic from Yale, and six in Persian from SOAS, as well as a selection of fully searchable manuscript catalogues and dictionaries in Arabic and Persian have been digitised and made available online.
