Environmental Design: Journal of the Islamic Environmental Design Research Centre
Environmental Design, edited by Attilio Petruccioli, proposes to promote and coordinate higher studies and research in the field of architecture, and urban and rural planning pertaining to the Islamic world. With a particular focus on the interface between people and their habitat, including housing, dwellings and settlement patterns, this journal is committed to realizing certain goals: an effective interplay between the different areas in urban studies, and a solid relationship of collaboration and exchange of technical expertise between major institutions committed to similar research.
