The Digital Archive of Brief notes & Iran Review (DABIR) is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal published by the Dr. Samuel M. Jordan Center for Persian Studies and Culture at the University of California, Irvine. DABIR aims to quickly and efficiently publish brief notes and reviews relating to the pre-modern world in contact with Iran and Persianate cultures. The journal accepts submissions on art history, archaeology, history, linguistics, literature, manuscript studies, numismatics, philology and religion, from Jaxartes to the Mediterranean and from the Sumerian period through to and including the Safavid era (3500 BCE-1500 CE). Work dealing with later periods can be considered on request.

"A part of daily life in contemporary Iran, propaganda murals appear throughout Tehran on both public and private buildings and contain powerful iconographic imagery. This selection of over 130 propaganda murals photographed in the capital city during the summer of 2006 is among the first “born digital” special collections to come to the library and represents one of the first efforts to systematically document such public murals."

فصلنامه پژوهشهای زبان و ادب فارسی
به منظور رشد و گسترش ادب فارسی و فرهنگ ايرانی- اسلامی، تازههای پژوهشی صاحبنظران زبان و ادبيات فارسی را منتشر میکند تا در دسترس علاقه مندان قرار گيرد. بنابراين مقالات ارسالی بايد شرايط زير را دارا باشد.

1. فصلنامه مجله پژوهش در زبان و ادبيات عربی در زمينههای مطالعات ادبی و زباني قرآن و حديث، ادبيات و نقد ادبی، ادبيات تطبيقی، مباحث زبانی، آموزش زبان و ترجمه آماده پذيرش مقاله است.
2. مقاله ارسالی بايد علمی پژوهشی، نتيجه تحقيقات نويسنده يا نويسندگان آن و به زبان عربی باشد. مطالب مقاله بايد مستند باشد و مأخذ نقل قولها حتماً ذکر شود. چنانچه نقل قولهای مستقيم يا غير مستقيم مقاله بدون ارجاع باشد، مقاله غير مستند تلقی شده، از نويسنده مسئول آن ـ تا مدتی که هيئت تحريريه تعيين میکند ـ ديگر مقالهای پذيرفته نخواهد شد.
3. مقاله نبايد به هيچ مجله ديگری ارسال و يا در جاي ديگری منتشر شده باشند.
4. مقاله باید بين 5000 تا 7500 کلمه و شامل اين بخشها باشد: چکيده در حدود 250 کلمه (به عربی، فارسی و انگليسی)، واژگان کليدی (5 تا 7 کلمه)، مقدمه، متن اصلی، نتيجهگيری و فهرست منابع و مآخذ (به زبان عربی و انگليسی).The biannual journal of "Research in Arabic Language and Literature" welcomes articles related to Arabic language and Literature.
The corresponding author who sends the article to the Journal is considered responsible for that article by the journal.
Iranian Journal of Society, Culture & Language (IJSCL) is a fully peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original research and review articles on the relationship between society, culture, and language. IJSCL favors articles which have a sound theoretical base with visible practical applications that can be used by specialists in anthropology, sociology, linguistics, education, intercultural studies, and policy making. Authors from all languages and cultures are invited to submit their research and review articles to the IJSCL journal.

The art of photography was introduced to Iran more than 150 years ago. Browse this site to view hundreds of photographs taken in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, from distinguished images of the Qajar royal family and expansive views of Persepolis to glimpses of everyday in life on the streets of Tehran. Explore the use of glass-plate negatives in early photography, research archival records, learn about collectors, and take an intimate look at life in Iran a century ago.
The Archives of the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery contain more than 1,100 original prints and glass-plate negatives by Antonin Sevruguin and other photographers. A grant from the Parsa Foundation funded the digitization and cataloging of the entire Freer and Sackler collection, the largest public collection of Sevruguin’s photographs outside of Iran. These prints and plates, assembled from the donated holdings of avid collectors and historians, form the core of a rapidly growing collection of early photography of Iran and establish the Freer and Sackler Archives as a leading center for its study.

Its domains includes development of medical sciences, biography of medical scientists, evidence based researches on historical aspects of medicine, archeological researches and roots of traditional approaches on medical sciences.

Créé en octobre 2005, la Revue de Téhéran est à l’heure actuelle le seul magazine iranien en langue française. Il connaît aujourd’hui une large diffusion au sein de l’Iran et compte également de nombreux abonnés en France et dans plusieurs pays francophones. Sa direction est placée sous l’égide de la Fondation Ettelaat, qui, depuis sa création en 1934, n’a cessé d’éditer, outre son quotidien du même nom, de nombreuses publications scientifiques, culturelles, ou consacrées aux sciences humaines. Il s’adresse à la fois à un public français et iranien francophone, et vise à faire connaître et à approfondir certains aspects historiques, philosophiques, ou sociaux de la culture iranienne. Il traite également de la littérature et aborde certains grands débats sociopolitiques iraniens et français actuels. Le but de cette Revue est non seulement de faire connaître davantage les multiples richesses de l’Iran et de participer ainsi, même modestement, au “dialogue des civilisations”, mais également de contribuer à la promotion de la langue française en Iran et dans tous les pays distribuant notre magazine. Elle vise de plus à favoriser la recherche comparée sur des thèmes communs à ces deux cultures, et à ouvrir de nouveaux domaines d’études et de coopération entre l’Iran et la France. Nous opérons également une sélection attentive de nos contributeurs, universitaires spécialisés dans un domaine de recherche particulier et ayant en commun une parfaite maîtrise de la langue française.
